Local Fishing
The local area has superb fishing on ponds, gravel pits and the River Ancholme. Being a fisherman myself, I can recommend many local waters with all types of fishing.
We have some superb Carp waters locally, with day tickets from £3 - £7, holding fish upto 30lbs.
The Marshland fishery in Barton not only has a huge head of Carp but also Barbel to 12lbs, very big Bream and a terrific head of Silverfish. Match weights on this fishery regularly exceed 100lbs; open matches are held every Thursday during the Summer.
